The Meters “People Say” was originally released as a single on Reprise records in 1974. The B-side however, the infectious “Funky Meters’ Soul”, has never been released on vinyl at all. The track was recorded during the sessions that resulted in their third album Struttin’ (1970), however it never made the album. To be able to get this one on a beautiful jukebox 45 RPM single is like a dream coming true for funk 45 collectors worldwide!
