Highlights include the “Roots Mural Theme,” composed by Gerald Fried, and the 28 minute, ‘Roots Suite,’ with Letta Mbulu as the featured vocalist. Plus the stunning “Main Title: Mama Aifambeni” as sampled by Moodymann and Andrés.
