Barry Can’t Swim returns with an infectious 12” 4-track EP titled ‘More Content’, featuring Laurence Guy and Taite Imogen on Ninja Tune imprint Technicolour.

The Edinburgh-born, London based producer is quickly making a name for himself for his own unique brand of world-inspired, jazz-inflicted electronic music.

Classically trained Joshua Mainnie is a hotly tipped multi- instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass, drums), producer and DJ making heads turn and feet dance on the international club circuit. His knack for lush textures and blissed-out vocal samples have gained impressive accolades in his burgeoning career, making him one to keep an eye on.

He was added to Billboard’s 10 Dance Artists To Watch In 2022, The Blessed Madonna’s Ones To Watch For 22 and Annie Mac’s ‘New Names for 2021’. His recent release with Anish Kumar, ‘Blackpool Boulevard’, scored a place on the BBC Radio 1 playlist. The track was also named one of Mixmag’s Best Tracks Of The Year.

Barry Can’t Swim has headlined a sold-out NTs Loft in London as well as a sold-out boat party on the River Thames B2B with Jaguar. His next headline show is at the famous Phonox in Brixton, ahead of a busy summer of live appearances.
