Originally released in February 1959, Dark Horse’s limited pink vinyl reissue includes a 12×12 insert with an introduction written by Dhani Harrison. Little Girl Blue includes some of Simone’s best-known tracks, including “My Baby Just Cares for Me” and “I Loves You, Porgy,” and even at this early stage in her career, listeners can hear the profound impact she would have on the musical landscape in the ensuing decades.
